Ray LaMontagne has been one of my favorite folk artists for some time now and I just recently caught his VH1 Storytellers episode on TV. It was absolutely incredible and he is now on my short list of artists to see live. This is a cover of a famous Neil Young song called “Out on the Weekend.” Not many artists could cover a song by a legend such as Neil Young but LaMontagne nails this song. It is breathtaking. Check out anything by Ray if you like what you hear almost all of his music is great especially anything live.
